Pinterest has named Kate Hamill as its new vice president of enterprise sales for North America, where she will oversee enterprise sales teams and revenue across the U.S. and Canada.
Starting April 7, Hamill will report to Bill Watkins, Pinterest’s chief revenue officer.
Hamill spent the last 13 years at Meta, most recently as managing director of industry for retail and ecommerce. During her time there, she led teams across verticals like retail, direct-to-consumer, travel, gaming, and entertainment.

In her role at Meta, she also worked closely with product teams to scope and launch ad solutions, including mobile app ads and Meta’s Advantage+ suite. That experience helped drive product adoption from inception to global scale—an expertise she plans to apply at Pinterest.
“As Pinterest continues to grow users, engagement, and ad revenue, I can’t wait to learn from the team and unlock even more potential, particularly with AI-driven and lower-funnel ad solutions,” said Hamill. “As a mom to three young daughters, Pinterest’s mission to create a positive online space and a business model based on positivity truly inspires me.”
Hamill joins Pinterest during a period of strong business momentum for the platform.
In 2024, the company posted $1.15 billion in revenue—a year-over-year increase of 18%—driven largely by the expansion of lower-funnel advertising tools and growing investment from retail marketers. Its global monthly active users reached a record 553 million in the fourth quarter, with Gen Z representing the platform’s largest and fastest-growing demographic.
“Kate has led teams across multiple sectors through explosive growth over the last decade, and she will play a pivotal role on this team,” Watkins said in a statement. “Her strategic expertise in scaling AI-driven advertising solutions and leading teams across various sectors will be crucial for elevating our market positioning and spearheading growth at Pinterest.”
