The Los Angeles Thieves stayed unbeaten with a sweep of the Vancouver Surge in the Call of Duty League Stage 2 Major qualifier on Friday.
Like the Thieves, Cloud9 New York posted a 3-0 win over the Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 to begin the Week 3 festivities. Toronto Ultra notched a 3-1 victory over the Vegas Falcons in the other match on Friday.
The Stage 2 Major qualifying round consists of 12 teams, with each playing seven qualifying matches through March 16 to determine seeding for the Stage 2 Major playoffs, slated for March 20-23 in Dallas.
The Thieves improved to 4-0 after sandwiching 250-170 and 3-2 victories in Vault around a 6-5 triumph in Skyline.
Cloud9 dismissed the Guerrillas with 250-158 and 6-2 wins on Hacienda and a 3-0 triumph on Protocol.
Toronto had a more difficult challenge on its hands with Vegas.
The Ultra enjoyed a 250-68 win on Protocol before the Falcons responded with a 6-1 victory on Red Card. Toronto responded with a 3-1 win on Hacienda and a 250-165 triumph on Skyline.
