My Review of Ultra Violette Future Fluid

As a beauty enthusiast always on the hunt for effective sun protection that doesn’t compromise on texture or finish, I was eager to put this product to the test.
Packaging and First Impressions
The Future Fluid comes in a cute bottle that looks and feels super modern. Its compact design you can easily pop it in your handbag for top ups on the go. The nozzle is nice and neat and there’s no mess when dispensing the product.
Texture and Application

True to its name, the Future Fluid boasts a superlight texture that glides effortlessly onto the skin. Unlike many mineral sunscreens that can feel heavy or leave a white cast, this formulation absorbs quickly, leaving a natural, skin-like finish. It’s an excellent base for makeup, providing a smooth canvas without pilling or greasiness.

Performance and Wear
With an impressive SPF 50+ rating, the Future Fluid offers robust protection against harmful UV rays. I have been testing it for a few days now, and it wears really nicely under my makeup. There’s no noticeable scent, making it suitable for those sensitive to fragrances. Throughout the day, my skin felt hydrated and calm, and it didn’t get super shiny which is a testament to its balanced formulation.
Skin Compatibility
I have combination skin and I think Future Fluid suits it very well. I don’t like anything too matte, but too glowy a finish can make me look like a disco ball, and I think this formulation hits a really good balance.
When I first received this sample for testing, I asked my Instagram followers what they were keen to know, and the following were the most popular questions.
Does it sit well under makeup?
I have found this to be a brilliant base for makeup. It has a nice radiant finish, and keeps my skin nice and hydrated. It sits beautifully under makeup, acting like a smooth, lightweight primer without pilling.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Ultra Violette Future Fluid SPF 50+ Superlight Mineral Skinscreen is designed to be suitable for sensitive skin. Since it’s a 100% mineral sunscreen, it relies on zinc oxide to provide UV protection, which is generally gentler and less likely to cause irritation compared to chemical filters.
Additionally, it is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and non-comedogenic, making it a great option for those with reactive, redness-prone, or acne-prone skin.
I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but I found it pretty soothing on my skin.
Is it suitable for perimenonpausal skin?
I have perimenopausal skin and I’d say this is a is a great choice because it’s gentle and hydrating and is free from irritating additions like fragrance.
Does it sting the eyes?
I have been testing the Ultra Violette Future Fluid formula for a few days and I have had no issues with it stinging my eyes. I usually have pretty sensitive and watery eyes, so this is a good sign!
How is it different from other mineral sunscreens?
What sets this apart from traditional mineral sunscreens is the super light texture. Lots of mineral formulas can feel thick, chalky and heavy, however, Future Fluid has a very fluid-like texture making it more comfortable for daily wear. It blends easily and doesn’t leave the dry, powdery feeling some mineral SPFs have.
The other thing associated with mineral formulas is a white cast which I find is completely undetectable in the Ultra Violette Future Fluid formula. It is sheer and blendable making it more wearable for a wider range of skin tones.
Future Fluid takes all the best parts of mineral sunscreen (gentle, protective, non-irritating) and fixes the usual issues (heavy texture, white cast, dryness). If you’ve struggled with finding a mineral SPF that feels comfortable, this one is definitely worth trying.
What is the texture like?
The texture is light and silky and blends into the skin effortlessly. Watch my video below to see it in action.
Is the finish matte or glowy?
Future Fluid has a natural and skin-like, sitting somewhere between matte and glowy depending on how you prep your skin. I’d say it’s a soft satin finish. It isn’t greasy or overly dewy, making it great for combination and even oily skin types.
Is it suitable for oily skin?
I think this is a great option for combination and oily skin although if you are very oily, and you like a very matte finish, you may find it is too hydrating for you. You might want to use a little powder in the T-zone.
Will will Ultra Violette Future Fluid be available in the UK?

Final Thoughts
I think that Ultra Violette’s Future Fluid SPF 50+ Superlight Mineral Skinscreen is a standout product in the crowded sunscreen market. I’m really impressed by its lightweight feel and how comfortable and hydrating it is. It is definitely one to check out if you want a mineral sunscreen but have not loved how heavy or difficult to blend they can be.
