Builders undertaking roof works at Old Parliament House have uncovered a hidden gem, with an inscription written in pencil nearly 65 years ago the handiwork of Brian Bourke, a local football icon – and an apprentice plumber at the time – who wrote his name, location, and dated the message July 14, 1960.
