Reader Question – The mafia book where he was arranged to be married to her sister but sees her necklace and wants her instead…

Anna needs our book help! It sounds similar to a few recent reader questions we’ve had, but I like the detail in this one. I LOVE the sound of this one (has an almost sheltered heroine, old-school forbidden romance quality to it).

She asks:

I don’t remember the name of a book I read a while ago. I remember that it was an arranged mafia book.

The female mc existence was hidden from the mafia world by her father. The male mc was first engaged to the female mc’s sister. The sister had been training to be the perfect mafia wife. She knew multiple languages.

But one day the female mc came running into the house while he was there, because his dog was chasing her. Her father had warned her not to go into the house so she pretends to be a maid. But he quickly realizes who she is because of the necklace she has that marks her as a member of the family. Once he saw her, he was fascinated by her.

He ends up getting engaged to female mc instead.

I can’t seem to remember anything else. Could you help me find this book?
