She asks:
What was that book called …? where the heroine has a crush on her sibling’s friend. The hero knows this and, to dissuade her from pursuing him, he asks the heroine’s sister to kiss him during the heroine’s birthday party.
Seeing both kissing, the heroine is heartbroken and leaves the town for her further education.
After some years, she is asked to attend the engagement of the sister, and the heroine thinks it’s with the crush. But it turns out that the sister never was in a relationship with the hero and is getting engaged to the hero’s cousin.
Then she meets the hero in the party and they slowly start their relationship. In between this hero’s uncle is plotting to kill the hero for the property
