Overview:

Qualcomm is hiring an experienced AI/ML Hardware Compiler Research Engineer at their Bangalore location. You will be responsible for deep learning compiler frameworks for Adreno AI accelerator and research, optimize and improve the compiler framework using hardware specific proprietary aspects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with harThe Ideal Candidate should be able to:dware teams to analyze the hardware bottlenecks for ML workloads.
• Recommend hardware recommendations that can benefit ML workloads on Adreno AI accelerator.
• Collaborate with opensource communities and contribute.
• Experience with Domain Specific Languages (DSL) compilers.
• Experience with deep learning compiler frameworks like TVM(tvm.ai) or glow.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
  OR
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
  OR
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
• bachelors or master’s in computer science, computer architecture, or related field
• 4+ years’ experience
• Computer architecture, memory hierarchy and operating system knowledge.
• Excellent C/C++ programming and software design skills, including debugging, performance analysis, and test design.
• Understanding of Neural Networks / Deep Learning concepts (Computer vision and Natural language), knowledge of neural network frameworks (Tensorflow, TfLite, Pytorch, Onnx).
• Experience in any compiler development with focus on middle-end or back-end optimizations like LLVM, MLIR.
• Handon experience with OpenCL programming or similar (or CUDA) programming for accelerating ML workloads on accelerators.
