Popular singer Portable brought his signature flair to the online discourse of actress Eniola Ajao’s new movie.
A video circulating online shows Portable confronting Ajao about the controversial decision to award crossdresser Bobrisky the “best dressed female” prize at the premiere of the movie, Ajakaju.
True to form, Portable doesn’t hold back in the clip. He questions Ajao in his usual energetic style, asking, “Why una go give Bobrisky best dressed female?” However, there was an earlier video where Ajao herself admitted to using the award as a publicity stunt to stir up conversation and boost viewership for the movie.
In the video, Ajao seems to take Portable’s challenge in stride. Playfully reminding him of her earlier confession, she throws back a lighthearted response. With the playful exchange seemingly settled, the two head into the cinema to enjoy Ajakaju.
While Portable’s outburst provided some drama, it appears both parties found humour in the situation. And whether the “controversy” was a genuine disagreement or another publicity play remains to be seen.
