Moldovan metal powerhouse Infected Rain recently released their sixth studio album, TIME, via Napalm Records. The LP is adventurous and daring, seeing the band flex its musical muscle and deliver a variety of heavy metal sounds, from progressive to modern metal.
At the helm of Infected Rain is vocalist Lena Scissorhands, who co-founded the band in 2008. More than 15 years and six albums later, the band is as strong as ever, with some added wisdom along the way.
“I feel like — and my friends are around the same age, give or take — but I see how much it bothers people, aging, and how much it makes people sad. I never thought about it that way, not because I’m perfect. I have my own … skeletons in other closets. Absolutely. But I never thought about it that way, aging, being a problem when it comes to anything. Aging should come with its advantages of being more wise.”
