Well once again, working on location has presented me with challenges WRT subject matter and lighting. Marybeth had to come to my rescue with just about the only stone worth photographing at my son’s house other than the run of the mill wall and landscaping rock/stones one would find in New Mexico. I did consider some nice river stone that almost made a solo shot. The diamond ring wound up sitting on one. As for size, ha, no worries there, it just made it under the three inches. Marybeth has really big fingers. lol.

Shot with: VOIGTLANDER, 125mm f/2.5 SL, MACRO APO-LANTHAR, Single Layer shot at f/4. Sun used for light source.
