Loh Kean Yew is a professional badminton player from Singapore. He was born on 26 June 1997 in Singapore. He began playing badminton at the age of four and showed promise early on in his career.
Loh Kean Yew attended Singapore Sports School , in Singapore, where he continued to hone his badminton skills. He furthered his education at Republic Polytechnic while studying Sports and Leisure Management. In 2015, he won the gold medal in the mixed doubles event at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games held in Singapore.
After finishing his studies, Loh Kean Yew began to focus on his badminton career full-time. He quickly rose through the ranks and in 2017, he won the men’s singles title at the Scottish Open Grand Prix. Later that year, he won the gold medal in the men’s singles event at the SEA Games held in Malaysia.
