  1. Gil de Ferran is a smart addition to the team because of his experience in open wheel racing even though he ran in the Indy Car Series.

  2. M1 label would look good on the car. But in the midst of other super global big names, out of place it seems for a small local teleco. Lol

  3. Hello, thanks for this video, it is very educational & informative.
    Keep up the good work!

  4. Zak is the daddy of McLaren

  5. wow i watched this after the 1 +2 in itally come on maclaren

  6. Zak is the man! Go McLaren 👌🏻🙏🏻

  7. Is Zak Brown related to James Brown ?

  8. 0:06 —— absolutely —- the unsightly halo, which isn't aerodynamic design. The grey image photo has a beautiful sleek look, while the yellow colour has the look of a station-wagon (and also with the ridiculous looking halo structure).

  9. I distinctly remember everyone hating on him when he took leadership of McLaren. People made it look like he stabbed Ron Dennis in the back.

  10. I love Zak. The Netflix series made me a major fan of Zak.

  11. How on earth has this guy got so few subs!! Omg this was so cool

  12. Zak and Andi are a dream team, the team really improved under their leadership

  13. Really interesting video mate

  14. The decision to re-brand and reorganise the management structure has been a success. McL is now has one of the best looking cars on the grid for me and Zak with Andreas beside him seem like a winning combination.

  15. Ricardo Tosser Rosset 😂😂😂💀💀💀

  16. Great video!

I think a lot of people still underestimate the importance of the personalities of the people in charge and the atmosphere they create. You could probably structure entire management courses around the F1 paddock, with so many examples of brilliant and disastrous leadership and management styles. Toto's incredible leadership skills and the atmosphere he creates brings out the best in people – you could have the exact same people in a team like Ferrari or Red Bull, and they wouldn't be performing at the same level – and that absolutely has a lot to do with that successes of Mercedes. Zak was the best thing to happen to McLaren in a long time, and bringing in Andreas was a brilliant move on his part.

I have always been a fan of Mika Häkkinen, so I've always had somewhat of a soft spot for McLaren. Between Zak and Andreas, and now Ricciardo and a return to the Mercedes power unit, I'm really excited to see what they can do in the coming years.

(And yes, I should include a nod towards the technical direction of James Key in improving the car, and the developing talent of Landon Norris)

  17. When Honda started to be successful after McLaren dropped them, I thought McLaren made a huge mistake. But in the long run, it was the right thing because Honda is leaving after 2021.

  18. It's obviously the orange livery, it's the key to all of this.

  19. 3rd in the championship baby, hell yeah

  20. earlier this year McLaren sent a job post for someone in marketing. I unfortunately don't have all the skills that they were after, but the environment in the team looks so fresh and exciting, that I know I would have absolutely loved it. There's so much passion in the sport, so being on a positive side of that is so important.

  21. Please do Jean Todt! Really love this type of content!

  22. Great vid! Zak has the perfect mix of racing passion and business knowledge. I can’t believe you’re only at 2k subs, this channel is going to blow up this year!

  23. He also own a HSV Racing V8 Supercar which let to him buying a part share in Walkinshaw Racing v8 supercar team and Lando Norris along with Daniel Ricciardo are just itching to race Bathurst

  24. One day in the future f1 fans will look back and Zak will be known as the person who saved McLaren and brought it back to winning
    [Edit ] let’s gooo P1 🥳 and P2 a McLaren 1-2
