Then repeats the first part again. So, you are actually absolutely right you know Taylor was going to switch it up. But instead of changing it to the one line she went back to what it was already. I’m curious if that was just how she wrote it or if it was a creative decision? Also, I really enjoy watching your video breakdowns. I can’t believe that a semi new Swifty, you deserve to be a certified professional! With your breakdowns and the way you understand what she is talking about. More than half the people I have seen react to down bad didn’t know what teenager petulance and didn’t want to look it up. I just heard that Taylor being compared with Eminem, because they both have such vast vocabulary’s. I mean a collab would be amazing! Because they are both incredible writers. And Taylor is an amazing artist and singer. But he would have to write something that is honest and doesn’t offend anyone. Although I saw him do a interview saying that his daughter loves Taylor and the first time when she was like 17 and won her first vma and what Kanye did he was so angry he wanted to write an entire album about Kanye for doing that to a child. She was not even an adult yet. And then everything else they did to her. Eminem said that if they did that to his daughter, he would kill him making a music video of his daughter lying naked next to Kanye so maybe we will see something in the future. I think Eminem did do some diss tracks about Kanye, but nothing that would make it onto the radio. One with Tay and it would destroy Kanye. ❤

You need to listen to The Prophecy! It is so vulnerable… I LOVE the songs on The Anthology… Aaron’s Dessner (folklore & evermore co-writer & producer) co-wrote and produced most of the songs on it. Unlike when she works with Jack Antanoff, who primarily likes using synths, drum machines etc in his production, Aaron prefers real instruments and orchestral backgrounds which add a real beautiful richness to the songs. Also he is really the only person Taylor writes to track with. On all the songs he co-wrote, most often he writes the music and according to Taylor she sees instantly a visual or it makes her feel something that she then writes lyrics to. So I feel like it is more interesting. I do feel that Jack and Taylor are good together but she and Aaron are magic. She calls Jack “musical family” and Aaron “her musical soulmate”.

I mean it's sad but I can't help but laugh at the whole teenage petulance aspect of fuck everything. The stages of grief sometimes overlap and go back and forth, and this is like the anger and depression stages intertwining with no damn warning. You say you’re new here, but that is a next-level lyric connection. In “New Romantics” she says “please leave me stranded, it’s so romantic.” I think this is said in a mocking tone considering Harry Styles really did leave her stranded on a boat (“blue dress on a boat”) at one point, but it’s definitely NR that “Down Bad” is referencing.
