This could be a Supertramp album in the mid 80’s if they never splitted. They have had several unsuccessful attempts to reunite, …

  2. I love this idea of a concept album. Both records came out roughly around the same time. By this time, both Davies and Hodgson were writing separately, so the idea of the concept record could have worked. Davies could have had his proggy, longer tunes like Brother Where You Bound, Better Days, and Hodgeson could have his more commercial, poppier tracks like Had a Dream and Hooked on a Problem. However, if this album came to fruition, we would likely not have the killer guitar work on "Brother" provided by Mister's Gilmore and Gorham.

  3. Although Roger is magical , talented musician he could not repeat the same quality level of Supertramp's area . His songs have too commercial sound for me , he is pop-musician based on his solo works . Rick's songs , on this Supertramp album, have more energy with special bluesy and progressive sound and the title song is simple epic . Good collection .

  4. " Brother where you .." is one of the best rock album, Scott Gorham and David Gilmour played on it !

  5. "Famous Last Words" should have been a double album.
The song "Brother Where You Bound" was considered too long and left out.
    It would have been magical.

  6. Nice compilation. Like 👍Unfortunately they got old and together each other's ego feelings prevented a meeting. Roger didn't do his cool guitar solos anymore after he incorporated the 12-string guitar into these songs. At that time both still had a touch of Progressive with long songs on their albums. See the hits Had a Dream and Cannonball.

  7. No hay ni una sola canción de supertramp que no me guste, eso es muy raro que se de con un grupo de música

  8. Wondrous compilation!

  13. This is fantastic… now I'm starting to wonder if Roger and Rick were planning to compile these songs all along.
