UPSC has opened 48 vacancies for the posts of Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service, as per the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024.

Application fee for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

As mentioned in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024, the candidate must deposit an application fee of Rs. 200 (through Online mode) Branch of the State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using Internet Banking of any Bank.

Age Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

• A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 01-08-2024.

Required Qualifications for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

• A candidate for the Indian Economic Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational
  Institutes established by an Act Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.
• A candidate for the Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree  with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from
  time to time.

Mode of Selection for UPSC Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024, the candidate will be selected on the basis of Interview/Personality Test. The Written examination carrying a maximum of 1000 marks and the Viva voce of such candidates as may be called by the Commission carrying a maximum of 200 marks.
