What happened?
Sekiguchi revealed that the reason she didn’t say anything when their boss questioned them was because she liked him, however, she knew he had a girlfriend and didn’t want to do anything to get in between them. Hachiya revealed that she broke up with him yesterday. Sekiguchi was relieved. However, dinner became a little more awkward. Afterwards, they walked through the city. Sekiguchi stopped suddenly and told Hachiya that she wouldn’t mind, before looking to the Love Hotel that they had stopped outside. He would have been lying if he hadn’t thought about it, however, his thoughts shifted from Sekiguchi to Yukuhashi. He knew what he had to do.
Hachiya apologised to Sekiguchi and turned to leave. As he walked away, she asked him why he liked her so much. He told her there was no simple why. He just liked everything about her. He then said that he believed it was what it was like to go from wanting someone to loving someone. Sekiguchi was surprised, but she then told him that she had seen Yukuhashi in the south park around this time the other day. He might find her there. Hachiya turned and ran to the park. He found Yukuhashi there and apologised to her, telling her he loved her. They went back to his apartment where she tried to apologise too, but he wouldn’t have it. He behaved terribly and was willing to do whatever it took to make it up to her.
What did you think?
Amazingly, I found myself feeling really sorry for Sekiguchi in this episode. She revealed that she knew Hachiya and Yukuhashi were dating, and that she hadn’t pursued him because of that. In all fairness, she did nothing wrong. I think she was surprised to see that Hachiya then chose Yukuhashi over her, but that’s the way it goes. Of course, I wouldn’t have wanted Hachiya to go with Sekiguchi to the Love Hotel as that would have made for some unbearable drama, and with only six-minute episodes, who has time for that? I think this was a good conclusion to the story, especially when Hachiya gave Yukuhashi an envelope with some tickets for a mini vacation disguised as work. Her smile at the end made it all worthwhile, even the darker seventh episode.
This series is a hentai, so some of the highlights will be a little spicy. There won’t be anything too graphic but be warned it is not safe for work beyond this point.
