UK: Builder allegedly bit cop’s hand while stark naked and high on magic mushrooms

David Orr was far from brazen when asked by the Sunday World about allegedly being caught walking starkers on a public highway, high on magic mushrooms.
The Banbridge builder buried his head and scuttled shyly away from our reporter and photographer when he was asked to comment on his alleged behaviour last month when, it is claimed, he was caught by police in a state of undress and intoxication.
When asked for his side of the story this week, he replied “no comment, no comment” before making his way into his home.
Initially all smiles when we asked for a quick chat, his friendly welcome vanished when he was informed we were from the Sunday World.
Orr also faces further charges of assaulting a police officer.
It has been claimed his actions were the result of suffering cross-contamination with hallucinogenic mushrooms by mistake, accelerating his reaction to what he consumed.
