SAMURAI MAIDEN Rewrites History This December

D3PUBLISHER Inc. and developer Shade Inc. have announced that their samura action title SAMURAI MAIDEN is set to release on 8th December, 2022. The upcoming title will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

SAMURAI MAIDEN follows the story of high school student, Tsumugi Tamaori, who is summoned in her sleep to the historic Sengoku period and the smoldering Honnoji Temple.

Together with historical figure, Nobunaga Oda, and a trio of newfound ninja friends, Tsumugi and team race through the underworld to slaughter mobs of undead enemies with powerful swordsmanship and mystical abilities. Using stylish combination attacks and strong counters, Tsumugi is well equipped to slay groups of zombies as well as tough bosses alongside her ninja friends while quarreling, laughing, and fighting, forging new bonds in the process.

Digital pre-orders are available for the PlayStation and Nintendo Switch versions. The digital deluxe edition includes costumes for all playable characters, extra weapons, and additional BGM tracks.
