Peet unveils first concept images of new townhouse development on Woodville Rd

A crucial housing project in Adelaide’s north west is set to deliver as much as 170 new homes, with concept plans of the development’s first four-storey townhouse project officially unveiled today.


Property developer Peet is expanding its multi-residential footprint with the launch of a new ”affordable” apartment project in Adelaide’s north west.

The four-storey development on Woodville Rd will comprise 20, one and two-bedroom apartments, each to be marketed with a price guide well below the Adelaide’s wide median of $732,500, according to PropTrack.

Managing Director and CEO at Peet Brendan Gore, said the project, which will include more than 30 per cent open space to meet commitment made in the Woodville Village Masterplan, would help address ever changing needs of homebuyers across Adelaide.

“The apartments are a reminder that high-density housing can be delivered at high-quality, with plenty of open space and good transport links,” he said.

“These generously proportioned apartments will appeal to a wide variety of purchasers from first-time buyers to downsizers and are an affordable option, ensuring more South Australians can own their own home.”

Officially released for off-the-plan sale form today, pricing for one-bedroom apartments start at $407,000, according to the developer’s project website.

Each home will feature an open plan, low-rise design, with access to balconies or courtyards from the living area.

Apartments will also come with designated, secure carparking spaces and will carry a six-star energy rating.

Mr Gore said the new apartments formed part of the wider Woodville Rd community development which will include 185 homes at completion. 

“Well located suburbs in Adelaide continue to grow in popularity, and desirable apartments such as these will be key to meeting this demand,” he  said.

“The apartments have generous living spaces, combined with a location that is highly connected to the city centre and the coast.

“It’s this rare combination that sets Woodville Rd apart from other housing options available on the market.”

Woodville Rd is located in the high-demand area of the western suburbs which is expected to be a major growth area over the next 30 years.

New residents will benefit from access to the St Clair Village Shopping Centre (including a Coles), Armada Arndale, Westfield West Lakes Shopping Centre, Harvey Norman, Bunnings, and a range of restaurant cuisine choices – all less than a 10-minute drive away.
