As he prepares for his sophomore album, the Nyanga East-born rapper is putting in place exciting collaborations for his body of work. Taking to Twitter (X), Lolli Native confirmed his first-ever studio session with Saudi. “Locked in with @Saudi_rsa for the 1st time! Ndanditshilo☝🏿 Amandla,” Lolli Native said.
There’s no clear timeframe as to when the Cape Town native will release his album, but his boss Emtee also confirmed that there’s new music coming from Lolli. Emtee shared his genuine excitement about witnessing Lolli Native‘s dedication in the studio, diligently selecting the perfect features for his music.
Among these collaborators is Saudi, adding to the anticipation and promise surrounding Lolli Native’s upcoming project. “@Lolli_Native is dropping an album this year. Been great sitting in the sessions seeing him go hard, make the right features, beat selection is fire,” Emtee said.
At present, an official release date for Lolli Native‘s upcoming album remains undisclosed. However, fans need not fret, as they can still immerse themselves in the sounds of his debut album, “iVangeli,” which he unveiled to the world back in 2022.
