Afrobeats sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has made a notable appearance at the International Conference Centre of the University of Ibadan for a family gathering.
The DMW star, who recently made headlines for acquiring a new private jet, travelled to Ibadan for the 40th-day fidaus prayer of late Alhaji Aderemi Tohir Sanni, the spouse of his aunt, Yeyeluwa of Edeland, Mrs. Dupe Adeleke – Sani.
In a video circulating on social media platforms, Davido was captured demonstrating traditional respect by prostrating to greet family members, including his uncle, the Governor of Osun State, and Senator Ademola Adeleke. Clad in traditional attire, the DMW label boss received praise from many of his fans for exemplifying cultural etiquette as a Yoruba man.
Davido’s respectful demeanor has garnered admiration from his supporters, further solidifying his status as a cultural ambassador within the Yoruba community.
