Reactions As Gov Sanwo Olu Gifts Lady Who Drove From London To Lagos A Brand New Car, And A New Home
On January 31, 2024, Pelumi Nubi set out on a journey by himself for the purpose of travelling from London to Lagos State. Throughout the course of the journey, she travelled through more than 27 countries, including France, Spain, Morocco, and a great number of others. In addition, she was involved in an accident while she was in Ivory Coast, which occurred during the travel trip.
Throughout the course of the journey, Pelumi encountered a great deal of new things, many of which she filmed and published on her many social media handles. Nevertheless, Pelumi landed in Lagos, Nigeria, without incident on April 7th, despite all the difficulties that she faced. She was greeted with a raucous reception by a large number of admirers in the state of Lagos.
One day after Pelumi arrived, the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo Olu, welcomed her with open arms and gave her a brand new car as a token of his and his administration’s support. In addition to this, Goldmyne TV stated that Governor Sanwo Olu presented Pelumi with a personalised number plate as well as a new residence in the state of Lagos.
Pelumi has also been appointed by the governor to serve as the brand ambassador for tourism in the state of Lagos.
The John Dandle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History in Lagos State received a monumental gift from Pelumi in the form of the vehicle that she drove from London to Lagos. This gave Pelumi the opportunity to show her appreciation for the generosity of others.
