Was recently back in England for just over a week to babysit my sister’s kids whilst she and her husband celebrated their 20th anniversary away in the Maldives. Did try and convince her to send me there instead but she just laughed. Still can’t complain as I do enjoy being in the UK! As it really wasn’t a trip to spend hours photographing (though did manage to meet up with the excellent Ed Weatherby in what turned out to be a non-starter of a photoshoot – wonderful meal and brilliant company at the pub though!) I did ask my sister to drive me to Kingley Vale on the Saturday afternoon for a few hours. If you’re ever in this area, you really need to visit here as these Yew trees are hundreds of years old and have the most amazing shapes. Expect a few more photos from here in the coming days!
