On family vacation to visit relatives in Arizona, following Route 66 from Chicago on July 15, 1962, I was allowed about 5 minutes. Nothing moving. Three locomotives to photograph. I was not smart enough to photograph the Harvey House a part of which, boarded up, can be seen in the first photo.
