I greet you warmly in the new week. This time with a flower that I eagerly await to bloom every spring, the liverwort. For me, this flower, which is only about 2 centimeters tall, is the epitome of beauty and elegance.
A few minutes ago a heavy rain shower swept over it and since the flower didn’t close, a tiny pool has now formed in its center and thick drops of water (at least compared to the size of the flower) have spread over the leaves.
The message of the week that I see in this little flower is: If we humbly look down, in front of our feet, and take the time to see the small and inconspicuous things, then we will also find wonder and beauty all over ordinary places. It doesn’t always have to be flowers. Sometimes there are also special people or just moments full of energy and light..
And spontaneously I can think of a second message. Rain is not only good for nature, but also good for the photo.
Ich begrüße Euch ganz herzlich in der neuen Woche. Dieses Mal mit einer Blume, auf deren Erblühen ich jeden Frühling sehnsüchtig warte, dem Leberblümchen. Diese nur ca. 2 Zentimeter große Blüte ist für mich ein Inbegriff für Schönheit und Eleganz.
Vor wenigen Minuten ging ein heftiger Regenschauer über sie hinweg, und da sich die Blüte nicht geschlossen hat, ist nun in ihrem Zentrum ein winzig kleiner Teich entstanden und dicke Wassertropfen (zumindest im Vergleich zu der Größe der Blüte) haben sich auf den Blättern verteilt.
Die Botschaft der Woche, die ich in diesem Blümchen sehe ist: Wenn wir den Blick auch einmal demütig nach unten wenden, vor unsere Füße, und uns die Zeit nehmen die kleinen und unscheinbaren Dinge zu sehen, dann finden wir auch Wunder und Schönheit an ganz gewöhnlichen Orten. Das müssen nicht immer Blumen sein. Manchmal sind es auch besondere Menschen oder einfach Momente voller Energie und Licht.
Und spontan fällt mir noch eine zweite Botschaft ein. Regen ist nicht nur gut für die Natur, sondern auch gut für das Foto.
