Douglas (msn 9942) Originally delivered to the USAAF as C-47A 42-24080, then transferred to the USN as an R4D-5. It was then modified to a “Super DC-3” and became an R4D-8, (msn 43376), and finally a C-117D when designations were standardized. This one was in CMH picking up an AWOL. Based at NAS Norfolk.
