Battery James P. Pratt at Fort Stevens State Park. The Cannon seen here is a reproduction.

Work commenced on Battery Pratt in May of 1899. It was completed in June of 1900 and transferred into service on June 28th, 1900. It cost $59,860.19 to build, and was armed with two 6" Model 1897MI cannons. Each was mounted on a Model 1898 disappearing carriage. The battery was disarmed after 1944.
