American Express Offer: $50 Cash Back For $250+ Global Grand Hyatt Spend Through June 30, 2024
American Express in the U.S. has published a new Amex Offer, advertising members to receive a US$50 refund on purchases of US$250 or more at Grand Hyatt properties.
This is a GLOBAL promotion, meaning you can stay at all properties under the Grand Hyatt brand worldwide and will be eligible for the offer which is remarkable as often these offers are limited to North America.
This is in addition to a separate offer for $100 off $500+ purchases for Hyatt Hotels (all brands) in Canada, which can be used independently of the Grand Hyatt Offer.
You can find these two offers in your America Express online account under the offers list and then have to manually add them to your active list:
This promotion is valid for purchases made with the registered card between April 8 and June 30, 2024.

It should be quite useful for most cardholders who like to stay at Hyatt as there are no geographic limitations for the stays due to the global nature of this promotion.
There is an additional Amex offer for all Hyatt brands that are located in Canada:
Get a one-time $100 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $500 USD in one or more purchases on room rate and room charges, when you pay for your stay at participating Hyatt Hotels & Resorts properties in Canada from 1/8/2024 to 4/30/2024.
The Canada promotion ends at the end of April, the Grand Hyatt one goes until the end of June.
Keep in mind that these offers are always targeted and they don’t necessarily show up in every cardmembers Amex account. You can try and add a bunch of currently available offers and hope that they get replenished with ones that you’re actually interested in (100 at the time are being displayed).
Too bad this comes two days too late for me as I just checked out at the Grand Hyatt Incheon in Korea:
Either way I’ll stay at plenty of Grand Hyatt properties until the end of June so I’ll definitely have oppotunity to use this offer at a later point.
Conclusion
American Express cardholders in the U.S. have new Amex Offers available to add to their accounts; the most recent one with $50 off $250 Grand Hyatt purchases is particularly interesting as it’s available globally, so no matter where the cardmember travels, the offer would apply.
Based on the terms & conditions, the offer might not register properly when you use your card in a digital wallet such as Apple Pay, so make sure you actually use your physical card to pay for the stay.

Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid at all Grand Hyatt locations in the US and internationally. Reservations must be made directly with Hyatt via Hyatt.com, the World of Hyatt mobile app, a Grand Hyatt hotel, or a Hyatt call center. Excludes all other Hyatt brand properties. Offer not valid for purchases of gift cards or World of Hyatt points. Qualifying purchase means a purchase at a participating Grand Hyatt property made during the offer period with your enrolled American Express Card and which is in an amount totaling at least $250 USD as posted to your account, following conversion from a foreign currency, if applicable, in accordance with your Cardmember Agreement. Offer only valid on room rate and room charges. Offer not valid for lodging stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member.
