3 AI Tools for Amazon Business That Aren’t ChatGPT

We are always on the lookout for tools and technologies that can give us an edge in the highly competitive marketplace that is Amazon. Lately, artificial intelligence (AI) has been getting a lot of buzz, especially with the rise of chatbots like ChatGPT. But while conversational AI is cool, we think the real value lies in more specialized AI tools.

In this post, we’ll share the 3 AI-powered tools we now use daily to optimize key parts of my Amazon FBA business. By integrating these innovations into our workflow, We are able to work faster, smarter, and more efficiently. If you’re looking to step up your ecommerce game, read on to discover how AI can revolutionize your processes!

How AI Can Benefit Amazon Sellers

Here are some of the major benefits of using AI tools as an Amazon seller:

  • Competitive Research: AI can analyze huge datasets like reviews, keywords, and listings to reveal competitor weaknesses and opportunities. This level of insights would take weeks or months to gather manually.
  • Content Creation: Whether you need listing copy, emails, ads or blog posts, AI can generate optimized drafts much faster than writing manually. This saves time and improves rankings.
  • Image Editing: Creating lifestyle images and variations is now possible in minutes with AI, instead of going back and forth with designers and photographers.
  • Automation: AI excels at repetitive tasks, freeing you up to focus on high-level strategy and innovation. It doesn’t get bored or overwhelmed.

The key is finding AI tools specialized for your needs that integrate seamlessly into existing systems. So without further ado, here are my current favorites:

Tool 1: Unveiling Amazon Seller Central’s AI Review Insights

Product research is a foundation of the Amazon selling business model. We need to deeply understand customer needs, frustrations and desires to create winning listings.

In the past, we would spend hours manually analyzing reviews and surveying customers. But Amazon itself recently launched an AI-powered feature that makes this a breeze.

You’re not just looking at any ol’ reviews – you’re aiming for insights that give you a golden ticket into the minds of your customers. This AI tool, nestled within Seller Central, does the heavy lifting. It crunches the numbers, sifts through reviews, and presents you with a goldmine of positives and negatives.

Have reviewers flagged issues like “not weatherproof” or “assembly nightmares”? Well, guess what? Those are the gems you need to polish up your product’s description. And that’s not all – the tool does the legwork, gathering these insights in one handy spot so you can weave them into your A+ content seamlessly.

The real beauty? You don’t need a PhD in AI to make this work for you. It’s like having your own data-driven assistant right there in Seller Central, pointing you toward the tweaks that could put you ahead of the competition.

Here’s how to use Amazon’s Customer Review Insights:

  1. Go to Seller Central and open the Product Opportunity Explorer under the Growth tab.
  2. Search for a product niche or category. For example, we use “Heated Cat Houses for Outdoor Use” in the video.
  3. Click into a specific niche, then go to Customer Review Insights.

This tool automatically aggregates all reviews left on products in that niche and detects key themes, both positive and negative.

For outdoor cat houses, the AI uncovers pain points around weatherproofing, scratch resistance, comfort, and more. We can instantly see what product features to highlight in listings to beat competitors.

You can also enter a specific ASIN to analyze reviews for your own product. This reveals shortcomings to improve upon and positives to emphasize in content.

We are amazed that Amazon offers such an advanced AI tool for free to sellers. It used to take me hours to manually uncover these insights. This single tool has saved me dozens of hours and had the biggest impact on my product research process.

Tool 2: Elevate Your Listings with ZonGuru’s AI Optimization

Creating optimized Amazon listings is incredibly time consuming. You need to include dozens of keywords naturally in titles, bullets and descriptions across multiple products.

My copywriting skills are decent, but writing so many detailed listings week after week can still be draining. Especially when trying to outrank established competitors.

That’s why I was so excited when ZonGuru launched their Listing Optimizer this year. This tool creates complete optimized listings with just a few clicks.

Here’s the scoop on how it works: the ZonGuru Listing Optimizer takes your key product information and transforms it into a listing that’s not just good – it’s optimization gold.

It’s like having a digital wordsmith with a knack for Amazon’s algorithms. And let’s be real, in this world of data-driven selling, having a killer listing is your golden ticket.

How To Use ZonGuru Listing Optimizer

Curious how it all comes together? Here’s a step-by-step tutorial:

  1. Fire up your ZonGuru account (or get ready to snag this trial, folks!)
  2. Grab 5 ASINs from your niche using the Customer Review Insights report above and plug those into Keywords on Fire in your ZonGuru dashboard.
  3. Name your session.
  4. Click Listing Optimizer in the left navigation.
  5. Import keywords from Keywords on Fire.
  6. Click Click here to add your first listing.
  7. Add a listing.
  8. Add your keywords again.
  9. Click Finish.

Now, let’s let the AI create one.

  1. Click Add Blank Listing.
  2. Select your keywords.
  3. Click AI Generate.
  4. Mention an key features under Product Description.
  5. Scroll down and click Generate.
  6. Click Add to search terms from the keywords box.

The AI is shockingly good at coming up with creative ways to organically include all those keywords in readable copy. This has shaved hours off my listing creation process.

We still go in and polish the AI’s work, but having those initial drafts eliminates the blank page paralysis. We can then push the listings directly to Seller Central!

Definitely check out ZonGuru’s 7-day free trial. Their AI listing builder is a complete game-changer.

3. Adobe Photoshop Beta for AI Photo Generation

As an Amazon seller, impactful photography is just as important as stellar copy. We know that lifestyle images displaying products in use typically convert better.

But again, sourcing and editing these photos can be time consuming and costly. That’s why we were thrilled to discover Adobe’s new AI-powered photo generation tools.

The catch is that this feature is currently only available in the Photoshop Beta app. Here’s how it works:

How To Use the Photoshop Beta AI Tool

  1. Download Photoshop Beta from Adobe’s website. You can get the beta version free if you’re already a subscriber of any Adobe plan or you can get the Photoshop plan on a free trial. That will give you enough time to try things out.
  2. Open a photo and use the Lasso tool to select an area.
  3. Enter a text prompt of what you want to see added to the image.
  4. Click Generate and Photoshop will create variations. Pick the best one.

Oh, the possibilities! I’m able to easily add lifestyle elements to product photos without hiring models or photographers. For example, we can make it look like someone is holding my product while cooking or doing yoga.

But it’s not just about aesthetics – it’s about efficiency, too. Think about it: no more waiting for edits from a professional, no more pricey photoshoots. With AI by your side, you’re the artist and the editor, all rolled into one.

The AI creates surprisingly realistic imagery. This allows me to rapidly test new angles and concepts before investing in pro photo shoots.

AI is Here to Stay

As the hype around broad chatbots like ChatGPT settles down, we believe specialized AI tools like these will have the biggest real-world impact. Squeezing out efficiencies allows me to focus more on high-level growth strategies.

We are eager to see what’s next for AI applications in ecommerce. One thing we know for sure is that this technology isn’t going away. The apps will only get smarter and more tailored to specific use cases.

Now we are curious – are you using any AI tools in your Amazon business? Let us know how they’re working for you in the comments! We are always looking for new ways to streamline my processes.
