Ellie Haycock Is Totally Normal by Gretchen Schreiber is the first book I’ve read by Schreiber. I think the book falls between young adult or new adult. The book is written from Ellie’s perspective.
Ellie’s life is between high school and the hospital.She keeps her social life separated. At her sudden stay at the hospital, she meets Ryan.
I enjoyed the storyline and pace of the book. The dynamic between Ellie and Ryan was great.The plot can be heavy. If hospitals are a trigger pass on the book.I rate the book a 7 out of 10.
