Founding Staind drummer Jon Wysocki has died at 53 years old. Wysocki played in Staind between 1995 and 2011, and has since performed in bands like Lydia’s Castle and Soil. We wish Wysocki‘s friends and family all the best at this time.
Lydia’s Castle issued the following notification to fans on Wysocki‘s death: “On 5/18/2024 at 8:02pm, Jon Wysocki passed away surrounded by family and friends that loved him dearly. An official statement will be developed shortly.”
Soil also commented, saying: “Today we lost one of the greats. Jon Wysocki was not only a great friend, a great drummer, but a great human being. It was an honor to have him in Soil for the time we did. We had so many laughs, so many good times. You will be missed dearly. Until we meet again dear friend…”
