IPU Admission 2024-25: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is going to close the online registration of all UG, PG and PhD programmes for the academic session 2024-25 on April 10, 2024. The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of all UG, PG and PhD programmes for the academic session 2024-25 have the last chance to apply.

Candidates have to pay up to Rs.1500 as an application fee to complete the online process of IPU Admission 2024-25. Application Fee and Seats for IPU Admission 2024-25:

The IPU fees comprise many components, such as library fees, security deposit, tuition, and hostel fees. Candidates can pay the charge once a year or once a semester. Additionally, the university holds back a portion of the seats in the courses for applicants who fall under specific criteria. Reserved groups include Defense, Army, Minority, OBC, EWS, PWD, and SC/ST. The availability of seats under reserved categories is contingent upon the verification of supporting documentation for qualifying requirements. Reservation Criteria of IPU Admission 2024-25:

The university provides seat reservations for admission to connected self-financing colleges (except from minority institutes) and USS/associated government institutions. Additionally, some of the categories’ IPU seat reservations are listed in the tabular form-

Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes For seats under this category, the candidate must hold a rank in the NLT and GGSIPU CET 2023 merit list.
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) PH/PwD seats in the government colleges are 5% as per the ‘Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016.
Other Backward Castes (OBC) 27% of seats are reserved for Delhi OBC category candidates, who belong to the list of OBC castes in Delhi. In addition, the reservation is available only in the university school of studies and other government institutions.
Economically Weaker Section (EWS) The university has 10% of seats for the EWS category candidates. Seat allotment under this category is subject to fulfilment of the conditions of the government.

Reservation Criteria for IPU Admission 2024-25:

A Common Entrance Test (CET) is administered by IP University for degrees such as BSc, BCA, BCom (Hons), B.Ed, BA (JMC), BHMCT, BBA, BA (Hons), BVoc, BPT, BPO, BOT, BASLP, MSc, MA, MEd, MPT, MOT, and MPO. This is followed by a counselling round. In addition, results from a number of national entrance exams, including CUET, JEE Main, NATA, NEET UG, CAT, CLAT, and GATE, are accepted for admission to GGSIPU. What’s the Counselling Process of IPU Admission 2024-25:

The CUET results have been accepted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for both undergraduate and graduate programs, including MCA, MA, BSc, BBA, and related degrees, BPharm, BCom (Hons), etc. In order to sit for the CUET exam, candidates must go to the official NTA website, nta.ac.in. The NTA administers the CUET-UG and CUET-PG exams, respectively, for admission to courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Once the merit list from the national-level exam or university entrance exam is full, the open seats in CUET are filled on the basis of merit. Counselling is provided by IPU both offline and online. Below is an explanation of the CUET counselling procedure for IPU admission.

Admission Process of IPU Admission 2024-25:

Admission to the majority of IPU courses is decided by entrance. Applicants should review the eligibility requirements relevant to each course before submitting an application. Candidates who want to apply for UG, PG, and PhD programs at GGSIPU must take the actions listed below-

Step 1- Registration Form-

  • Go to Candidate Activity Board.
  • Click IPU Registration 2024
  • New Candidate Registration and register for the Online Registration Form.
  • The candidate should supply the required details while filling out the Online Registration Form and is also required to create a User ID and PASSWORD.

Step 2- Application Form

  • The candidates can log in with the pre-created User ID and Password.
  • Complete the application form and upload the relevant documents.

Step 3- Fee Payment-

  • After completing the application form candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee.
  • The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, etc. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator. The registration fee paid for the application will not be refundable.
