Vail Resorts’ summer sale: 20% off Epic Passes and lodging


As summer inches closer (albeit at a snail’s pace for those of us in the Midwest), there’s another season some of us are thinking about well in advance.

We simultaneously regret yet rejoice to bring your attention to ski season, but we promise it’s for a good reason.

Vail Resorts’ annual summer sale is upon us, meaning you can save 20% on lodging rates for the upcoming ski season. Epic Pass holders get early access to the sale and save an additional 20% through the Epic Mountain Rewards program.

In case you missed it, mountaingoers 13 and older can purchase a discounted Epic Pass for unlimited access to ski resorts across North America, Europe and Australia during the 2024-2025 season for $982.

An Epic Pass for the 2024-2025 ski season is currently on sale for $982. It can be used at more than 80 Vail Resorts and partner mountains, including Vail Mountain, Whistler Blackcomb, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Heavenly, Breckenridge, Seven Springs, Park City Mountain, Crested Butte, Northstar, Mount Snow, Liberty, Okemo, Hunter and Kirkwood.

Telluride is the only resort on the Epic Pass that requires reservations; you can book them online through Epic Pass.

Passholder perks include:

  • Unlimited access to resorts
  • Six additional discounted lift tickets each season for friends and family
  • Early access to save up to 20% on lodging, ski and snowboard group lessons, ski and snowboard gear rentals, and on-mountain food and beverages (up to $150 daily); 20% off select on-mountain activities; and 20% off the Epic Mountain Express private or shared shuttles from Denver International Airport (DEN) and Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) to Vail Resorts’ 37 North American resorts

Passes are nonrefundable except for those purchased through Epic Coverage, which provides refunds for certain resort closures and personal events.

Epic Local passes are also on sale for $731, along with the Epic Day Pass, which starts at $102 per day.

Ahead of public access, Epic Pass holders receive early access to lock in discounted winter lodging rates at a variety of hotels, condos and vacation residences across Vail Resorts’ portfolio, including:

  • The Grand Lodge Crested Butte Hotel and Suites, starting at $118 per night
  • Keystone Lodge & Spa, starting at $129 per night
  • Gravity Haus Breckenridge, starting at $179 per night
  • The Pines Lodge (Beaver Creek), starting at $179 per night
  • Grand Summit Hotel (Park City), starting at $206 per night
  • The Lodge at Vail, starting at $271 per night
