Gotham is a shell of itself, and the only person who can restore it to its former “glory” is none other than the Joker in DC’s new comics this week.
As Batman returns to Gotham City in Detective Comics #1085, he realizes that the place he calls home is no longer what it used to be. There is an ominous organization lurking in the shadows and pulling all the strings. The mysterious group’s plans are so well-thought-out and structured that only someone as chaotic as the Joker stands a chance against it. However, the city’s most unpredictable villain has seemingly lost his touch, even admitting that he can no longer laugh.
