Dark Horse Direct will celebrate 30 years of Hellboy with a deluxe vinyl figure to be released later this year. The exclusive figure comes with many accessories, vividly bringing Mike Mignola’s iconic character to life.
The Hellboy 30th Anniversary Deluxe Vinyl Figure stands at 12.5″ tall and comes with the famed corpse, Tam O’Clannie, a removable B.P.R.D. logo shirt, swappable weapon hands and gun holster, as well as an interchangable Anung Un Rama alternate head that features a flaming crown. The announcement of the figure follows recent news of Mike Mignola’s Hellboy documentary detailing Mignola’s work and the creation of the iconic character. The figure is available for pre-order now on Dark Horse Direct and will cost $149.99.

DC announces an incredible team of creators’ return to Superman in the upcoming Action Comics #1067 — kicking off a three-part story this summer.
Artists Mike Bonanno and Hector Arce designed the intricately crafted figure for Dark Horse Direct, and it is full of details fans of Hellboy will recognize and appreciate. In announcing the upcoming figure, Dark Horse also revealed its full dimensions: 5.8″ wide, 5″ deep, 12.5″ tall (15″ with crown). The figure comes with a 6.25″ base and nine additional accessories.
Hellboy’s Legacy Spans Three Decades
Hellboy was created by writer-artist Mike Mignola, first appearing in San Diego Comic-Con Comics #2 in August 1993. The legendary character has gone on to star in various miniseries and crossovers, while also receiving three live-action feature films. The character is a half-demon summoned from Hell to Earth who hunts dark forces, including Nazis and witches, with his tales often intersecting folklore, Lovecraftian horror and other horror fiction.

Over the course of his comics career, Mignola developed a unique graphic style, taking part in projects for Marvel Comics, DC Comics and Dark Horse. His notable works alongside Hellboy include B.P.R.D., Cosmic Odyssey, and Gotham by Gaslight. The supernatural themes that have made Hellboy beloved by fans also persist in his other Dark Horse works, including Baltimore, Joe Golem, and The Amazing Screw-On Head.
