Nicki Minaj makes history as most successful touring female rapper

Nicki Minaj has set a new record for the highest-grossing tour by a female rapper in history.

According to Touring Data, she also broke the record for the highest-grossing concert by a female rapper with $2.858 million at Madison Square Garden in New York on March 30, 2024.

Despite only completing 30 percent of the tour, she has already earned $34.9 million and is projected to reach $100 million by the end of the tour later this year.

Nicki Minaj had previously expressed interest in including Nigeria on her tour if there was enough demand from fans.

It remains to be seen if she will add Nigeria or any other African country to the tour’s itinerary.
