Yakutia Airlines Boeing 737 Overruns Runway in Moscow – Aero World


A Yakutia Airlines Boeing 737-700 overran the runway at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport on 25th December. The aircraft overran the runway 24L by about 20 meters and came to a halt on the paved surface.

The aircraft was operating domestic flight R3784 from Chulman Neryungri airport and Moscow’s Vnukovo airport with 109 passengers and 7 crew members on board.

However, no one was injured and the aircraft was towed back to the taxiway. The passengers reportedly disembarked normally and were taken to the terminal.

The Yakutia Boeing 737-700, with registration VQ-BIP, was involved in the incident.
