Property management companies should offer to handle all of your leasing and maintenance needs for you. At Nexus, our leasing agents get their hands dirty advertising and listing vacancies, communicating with prospective tenants, coordinating and physically showing the property, analyzing background screening results and tenant qualifications, creating and executing a lease, and providing the new tenant with their keys and getting them moved in. Those are a lot of responsibilities to handle, but the control still lies with the property owner who has the last say because tenants don’t get to sign a lease without being approved by the owner.

 

On the maintenance side, tenants can submit service requests through Nexus’ online portal. Our maintenance technicians will respond to any emergencies that come across (24/7/365), but for all non-emergency work orders over a predetermined price, owner approval is needed before any work is scheduled.  We’ll send our guys out on the field where and whenever they’re needed, but not until you write off on the play.
