Ive never been a fan of Shadow. That aside, Sega did more to kill the character than anything else.
Dialing up the edge from cool to cringe. His debut game was like a parody of himself. That and his debut game was just eh…not great.
But It’s a shame how quickly Sega gave up on the character. After a failed solo outing, and a failed AAA venture. Sega just stop investing in the character all together.
Sega made two wrong moves and it’s the fans that lost out. Shadow just couldn’t escape bad decisions.
