I actually just finished the original Shadow of the Ninja on NSO in preparation for this (still holds up pretty well, though is held back almost entirely by the virtue of being a NES game XD) and a late August release date couldn’t be any better for me specifically. Day One purchase for me, can’t wait!
also, I forgot to mention it in the past couple of articles for KAGE, but the remix they’ve been showing off of the Stage 1 theme is absolutely PHENOMENAL
