Rayman Is Getting A Brand New Board Game Later This Year

@TKundNobody Doom was cool, though had some clunky mechanics if i recall(ammo) and Kevin Wilson has done a lot better dungeon crawls since(even 1e Descent). Starcraft was neat i agree, but i feel the Fantasy Flight Warhammer 40k game, Forbidden Stars, although not based directly on a bgame, was a better attempt at streamlining and innovating an exemplary galactic conquest game like Twilight Imperium(3e).
Also , i thought the boardgame version of World of Warcraft, although gruesomely overburdened with lengthy combat mechanics and game time, was a phenomenal take on the renowned mmorpg.
Bioshock Infinite, while not great, and certainly overshadowed by Vega’s later efforts like Dead of Winter, was a superior endeavor to transform a video game into an interesting boardgame, then say, Doom.
The Monster Hunter boardgame isn’t terrible either, although i think it only shines in upgrading one’s abilities and in combat.
Age of Mythology, though not without its critics, was an early Video-to-Table game that i really loved.
Regardless, good to see another bgamer here and yeah, bgg is great!
