BIG NEXUS NEWS: FRANCHISE OFFICE OPENING IN NEW HAVEN COUNTY THIS SUMMER
Another Nexus Property Management® office is opening soon. Nexus began operations in Pawtucket, Rhode Island in the summer of 2012 and since then has expanded with franchises in Fall River, Worcester, and Natick, Massachusetts. The New Haven County office will be the first in Connecticut. Nearby Hartford has also been highlighted as a prime territory for the further expansion into the Constitution State.
WHY NEW HAVEN COUNTY:
New Haven County is home to several major population centers including New Haven and Waterbury, the third and fifth largest cities in the state. The area is home to over 864,000 people living in over 360,000 housing units that are highly diverse from the urban centers and local colleges and universities to the suburbs and rural areas of the Naugatuck Valley. The area is conveniently framed by major highways including I-95 and U.S. route 1 to the south, I-91 to the east, I-691 and I-84 to the north, and route 8 in the west. New Haven County is a great place to live and an ideal place to own investment property.

Like Pawtucket, Fall River, and Worcester, New Haven was another center of industry in years past. The infrastructure of the city and the surrounding areas in the Naugatuck Valley is very similar to the profiles where other Nexus franchises have already had significant success, most notably the Blackstone Valley. Also similar to those areas, downtown New Haven has focused on revitalization in recent years and in comparison is further along in attracting people and investment back to the city.
NEXUS’ GROWTH:
Nexus’ founder, Nick D’Agnillo, opened the first Nexus office over a decade ago and from day one the focus has been on growth. With over 500 units under management for that inaugural Rhode Island location, Nexus began franchising in March of 2017 and promptly opened a second office in Fall River, Massachusetts. With two offices off and running, Nexus managed over 1000 rental units across two states. Then in the summer of 2020 a third office opened in Worcester, Massachusetts. One year later, Natick became the third Massachusetts location. This summer, a new Fall River office will be opening in addition to the expansion into Connecticut.
