Georgian Airways adds first Global 6000


Georgian Airways (A9, Tbilisi) says it has acquired its first Bombardier Aerospace Global 6000, 4L-GTG (msn 9661).

ch-aviation fleets ownership data shows that prior to changing hands in January this year, the 14-seater executive jet was operated by Qatar Executive (QQE, Doha International) as A7-TAA since delivery from Bombardier Aerospace back in May 2016. Since then, it has been used to run a series of charters from Georgia to and around mainland Europe as well as the Middle East.

The Georgian carrier’s VIP fleet already consists of one 14-seater Challenger 850, which although owned and managed by the Georgian government, is operated for Georgian Airways by Airzena (LV, Tbilisi).

Georgian Airways’ mainline fleet, which focuses on scheduled passenger flights, entails two in-house B737-700s, two in-house B737-800s, a B737-500 wet-leased from Air Dilijans (RM, Yerevan), and a CRJ200 wet-leased from Airzena.
