Question: An elderly man with a history of coronary artery disease status after coronary artery bypass graft, coronary stenting, hypertension, anemia, and chronic kidney disease initially presented to an outside medical facility with generalized weakness and fatigue. He was hospitalized for lobar pneumonia and Clostridium septicum bacteremia, and was discharged home with levofloxacin after 4 days. Seven days after discharge, the patient presented to our hospital with severe periumbilical and epigastric abdominal pain for 1 week.
