The Interim Chief Executive Officer & Chief Financial Officer with over 16 years of managing experience and expertise in healthcare & Finance, stated that Avenue Healthcare is scaling up its secondary and tertiary care offering through enhancements to its diagnostic capacity, expansion of its clinic network and the construction of a new hospital wing at Parklands, Nairobi and for this The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is set to loan Avenue Hospital KES 1.4 billion ($11.7 million).
“We have invested over 300 Million into facility, equipment & patient quality, patient safety and experience in the last 12 months. We have recently invested in State of the art Imaging centre , a State of the art modular theatre with a wide range menu of surgical procedures and opened a new wing called Aura specialist centre that is fully equipped to provide multiple sub-specialist care to our patients. In addition we are now at an advanced stage in expanding our Outpatient clinic network to enhance provision of access to affordable medical services across the country. We currently have 13 clinics across 6 counties and are adding 3 more in the next 3 months,” Mr Osman stated.
