We’re talking vacuum cleaners that suck the life out of you (don’t worry, not literally… probably), yo-yos that slice like razors, and even notebooks that kill.

15. Hisoka Morow’s Bungee Gum (Hunter x Hunter)
Hisoka Morow is one of the creepiest characters in the famous shounen by Yoshihiro Togashi, Hunter x Hunter. Despite his role as a main antagonist and his unhinged nature, his fighting techniques are nothing short of impressive.
His most powerful “weapon” is Bungee Gum, which is basically his aura that mimics and combines the properties of gum and rubber, which is something Hisoka often says himself. It acts as a sticky spiderweb that can trap people, bounce back attacks, or even yank objects towards him. Pretty sweet, right?
14. Hitagi Senjougahara’s Stapler (Bakemonogatari)
Think of a prickly cactus hiding a soft center. That’s Hitagi in a nutshell. Her sharp wit and fiery comebacks can pierce any conversation, leaving you both impressed and maybe a little intimidated. But under that tough exterior lies a ride-or-die friend who always has your back, which is a quality anyone would appreciate in a partner.
She packs a punch (or rather, a staple) with her arsenal of office supplies. From staplers to who-knows-what-else, she’s not afraid to get creative when it comes to “persuading” people (especially poor Koyomi).
Fun fact: her trademark weapon, the staple, is meant to reflect her animal motif, a crab’s claws.
13. Joseph’s Joestar’s Clackers (Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure)
Just like his cocky and quick-witted personality, Joseph Joestar created his own killer move: the Clacker Ripple! Imagine deadly American clackers infused with energy that can slice and dice enemies, letting the Ripple flow right in for extra ouch. He mastered these bad boys to the point where this technique became absolutely lethal.
Sadly, they met their end when a villain severed the strings, but fans can’t get over them to this day.
12. Haruko Haruhara’s Bass Guitar (FLCL)
If unpredictability was a human, she would be called Haruko Haruhara. She is crefree, spontaneus and doesn’t take things too seriously. As a result, you will catch her being mischievous and cracking jokes quite often. While she is quirky, there’s also a mysterious side to her.
Our pink-haired powerhouse uses her guitar-turned-weapon, nickname bat, to fly, fight, and even crack open heads (don’t worry, not literally… maybe).
In the FLCL universe, this is, however, nothing extraordinary. In fact, musical weapons are the signature weapons of the show.
11. Mami Tomoe’s Ribbons (Magi Madoka Magica)
Mami isn’t just another pretty face. This magical girl whips around magical ribbons as tough as steel chains, controlled by her mind like an invisible puppeteer. Need a soft landing? Ribbon net! This thing pulls double duty, transforming into a melee weapon that handles like a sword. While it’s not the go-to gear for Exorcists, they do break it out now and then for crafting massive arrays.
8. Gon Freecss Fishing Pole (Hunter x Hunter)

5. Edward Elric’s Automail Arm (FMA)
Edward is the youngest State alchemist, a title he earned at the tender age of 12. But things weren’t always smooth sailing. In a desperate attempt to revive their deceased mother using alchemy, a big no-no in their world, things went horribly wrong. Edward lost his left leg, while his younger brother Alphonse lost his entire body.
To save Alphonse, Edward sacrificed his right arm to bind his brother’s soul to a suit of armor. He then replaced his missing limbs with amazing mechanical contraptions called automail, making him the “Fullmetal Alchemist” we know and love.
Edward Elric’s prosthetic arm is not only a replacement for his missing limb but also functions as a powerful weapon. His automail arm is made of a durable metal and can be used to enhance his physical strength. In addition to its strength, the arm serves as a shield and is bulletproof, providing Ed with a defensive advantage in combat.
4. Nicholas D. Wolfwood’s Punisher (Trigun)
