Loss of Cocktail Service in First Class

I am a frequent flyer on most major airlines traveling for business and personal reasons. As a VIP member on most airlines, I am finding it more and more difficult to receive appropriate service in business and first class.

It has always been airline’s practice to offer a cocktail immediately upon boarding. Oftentimes I am not offered a cocktail until at least 15 minutes in the air. Also, I expect frequent cocktail refills on longer flights – which is becoming a thing of the past.

I find first class flight attendants rude and less attentive than in the past. The seats are dirty and cluttered with trash. There’s been flights where I have not seen an attendant the entire flight.

While most of the flying public flies coach/economy, the cost of a first class ticket is more than triple the cost of an economy flight. I expect first class amenities. Is that too much to ask? That being said, please don’t make this all about the cocktails – it’s just the level of service vs. increasing costs of first class air travel that is completely disproportionate.
