The J & M Cafe Presents:
High-energy music and dance rooted in African culture, Maya Soleil brings their electric Afro-World Fusion show to the J & M. Singer and dancer Moye Kashimbi from Zambia will be joined by Sheimawu & Awal Alhassan (also of Sohoyini African Drum & Dance) of Ghana on the front line, backed by original co-founders Rob ‘Mad Scientist’ Pastorok (keyboards) and TJ Morris (world drum kit); and with Bob Antolin (sax, flute & guitar) and E Michael Pruitt (bass). Expect some traditional drum & dance and a lot of African fusion.
