This is Fruitycake. I like to go to my office after a long day. Yes, I know it is opposite for persons. They like to go unwind after a long day away from the office.

But my office is by the sea. I can sit up high and look over at the people walking below. I can listen and watch. Brickle taught me the art of watching. There’s nothing quite like it.

I love this Italy place, but sometimes the commotion is too much all the time. So I have tried a different place. And I may have fear. But fear led me to finding peace.
We have had to search for a different place with our hearts lately to make more of a difference. We have been so concerned with just daily living that it was hard to look past that. And in many ways, we still struggle.

But if we don’t have a focus, a place to put our goals and energies and prayers on to, we will keep struggling.
And if we talk about this house rescuing us, we need to be worthy of that. If we talk about Brickle getting us here for a reason, we have to think we are worthy of that reason.

So we keep researching and planning our ways to use our little piece of the earth.
And yes, we do so as we struggle. Because life will always give us reasons to not care. Life will always give us reasons to think of ourselves first.

Life will always give us reasons to be like everyone else and not find that place in our hearts to do better. We are not everyone else. You are not everyone else. The earth needs us all.

Let’s work thru this project together and use what is here to make a difference worldwide.
Brickle and Digby always said example was the most powerful way to make a difference.

And they were right. Their stories and adventures live on. That two rescue dogs could change what rescue looked like.
I will try to keep on with their examples in the place I am now.

We arrived ten months ago with no indoor plumbing, no water and nothing. You’ve helped us so much. But we still need your help to get this property stable, comfortable and safer. This blog will always continue with your support, and now it can grow into something even bigger!
