How to Make the BEST Breakfast Sliders Recipe
- Ingredients you’ll need to make homemade Breakfast Sliders: Pork breakfast sausage, 12 count sweet or savory slider rolls i.e. brioche rolls, potato rolls or similar, cheddar cheese slices, large eggs, sour cream or milk, salt, black pepper, melted butter and maple syrup.
- Kitchen tools you’ll need: Large sheet pan, 10 inch or larger skillet, small bowl, medium bowl, whisk, pastry brush, sharp knife and cutting board, rubber spatula or stainless steel spoon.
- You can use classic or spicy sausage for these sliders. You could also use turkey sausage or chorizo for a spicy kick.
- The slider rolls I use for this recipe are a bit larger than classic King’s Hawaiian rolls. That said, you can use your favorite brand of rolls whether a sweet brioche, savory potato rolls or classic sourdough dinner rolls. I used Sara Lee Artesano Bakery Rolls.
- Use pure maple syrup and not an imitation syrup for the best flavor.
- You can serve these sliders with a side of maple syrup for dipping. This is completely optional but it’s definitely a tasty option. Either way they’re delicious.
- You could use a different variety of cheese to suit your taste. Cheddar, colby jack, swiss or monterey jack all work well.
- For a timesaver you can cook the eggs and sausage and chill in airtight containers until assembling the sliders.
- Store baked Breakfast Sliders in an airtight container chilled in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in single servings in the microwave or in a 325°F air fryer.
